After being beaten down

By the hand of the masculine

These women opened the doors 

For this very moment 

Right here

Right now

For this mass awakening

Of women

To the truth of who we are

And it is time

For you and I

To take the baton 

For us to step out 

Of the shadows

And into the light

To reclaim our rightful

Place as Goddess

Priestess

President

Prime Minister

It is time for us to stand

Hand in hand

Arm in arm

As supportive sisters

And cry out to the World

To the Universe

We are HERE

We will no longer be quiet

We will no longer stand by

And let our children

Our communities

Our countries

Be bullied

By the hands of a few

We have been cultivating compassion

And patience in our homes

We have been remembering our wisdom

From the sisters who walked before us

We have re-awoken the power of LOVE

Inside of us so strong 

That we will no longer be stopped

We will no longer be cast aside

We will no longer be judged as less than

We will step in to the ring

With the heart of a lion 

And the strength of a mama bear

We will be heard and we will be listened to

It is time to rise women of this earth

It is time to RISE 

And our guiding force

Will be the energy of love

It will be the energy of LOVE
